In early 2015 I became the first brand ambassador for ARK Skincare. I have been using the brand since discovering it in 2012. Tamsin Styles who is the chief executive at ARK wanted to have someone working with ARK who was genuinely passionate about the products and wasn’t just discovering them – I was lucky that that was me.
ARK Skincare celebrate age, they have products suitable for the age that you are and each one of the age group ranges supports and enhances the skin accordingly. There is nothing nasty in the products – they are free from Parabens, SLS, mineral oil, S.D. Alcohol, Formaldehyde, and Artificial Colours and Fragrance. This makes them suitable for every skin. Even the most sensitive of skins. The products contain a balanced level of lipids, antioxidants and vitamins.
For sensitive skin ARK Skincare is the winner. I am incredibly proud to have introduced the range to my friend Lisa Faulkner who is hesitant to ever try new products on her skin because she has rosacea and very reactive skin. I actually had to persuade her – and she called me and couldn’t believe what the range had done for her skin.
“ARK Skincare is brilliant. I have Rosacea and ARK has completely changed the look and feel of my skin in a matter of weeks. I love them, especially the De-Stress serum and the agedefend moisturiser ”
The entire skincare range is suitable for vegans, nut allergy sufferers (the nut protein has been removed), and the whole range including the body products are suitable for vegetarians.
I use the whole range but my top three products of the moment are…
1) Radiance Serum £45.00
Dark spots be gone. Even though I have been fanatical about protecting my skin from the sun for as long as I can remember, childhood damage and some teenage mistakes creep through. The difference this serum has made to the appearance of my skin surface places it at my number one product. It also makes the skin glow – and i even mix a drop with my foundation (a tip from Stephanie Pratt who calls this product her secret weapon).
2) Skin Protector SPF30 Primer £36.00
I could recommend this to every person without hesitation. You won’t find a better daily skin protector on the market because not only does it contain broad spectrum protection from both UVA and UVB rays but it applies to the skin so lightly – flawlessly. If you wear make up it’s the perfect invisible base. This is my every single day come rain or shine must have product. It has won so many awards. The range wins awards – 7 this year so far – but this product wins over and over again.
3) Pre-Cleanse and Makeup Remover £30.00
Saviour. I don’t even use eye make-up remover anymore. This luxurious pre cleanser takes off every morsel of make-up and grime before you cleanse. You apply directly to the skin and over the eyes as well. I take the time to massage my face. You then apply water and massage and hen rinse away. it’s fabulous. I wear a lot of make-up at work and am fanatical about having clean skin at the end of the day. This makes it so easy.
