My Cult Beauty picks –

Bio-Essence Jelly Cleanser Make-Up Remover £16.00

Wow. Think of this in the same way you would an oil cleanser – but it’s a light jelly gel. It grabs everything including eye make-up – very very gently. Apply to dry skin with the hands, and rinse away – so simple – no rubbing, no scrubbing, no wiping.

REN Satin Perfection BB Cream £28.00

This product from the ever popular REN has just been re-packaged. My friend Vicky brought it to Portugal with us recently. They say that it has a ‘one shade suits most’ formula – I would personally say it’s suitable for fairly light to medium complexions. It’s rich, creamy, nourishing, flattering on the skin and has SPF15 protection.

Stila Convertible Colour £16.00

I adore this creamy cheek tint. Use on the lips as well. I’ve been using it for years – and have shades Peony and Gladiola. Peach Blossom looks new to me – and a beautiful colour. Smile and apply to the apples of the cheeks.

Holistic Silk Massaging Slippers £68.00

As these embrace the theory of reflexology they have to be a pick of mine. The slipper is made with silk and the insoles are moulded with magnets that apply pressure to points on the feet. I’ve used the Holistic Silk eye masks for many years and these look like the perfect thing to put on when relaxing at home or after a long day.

CosRx Blackhead Silk Finger Ball £10.00

Now I haven’t tried these – but I’m going to after seeing them on the website this week! I am not a fan of squeezing my skin, and I don’t think anybody but a professional should be as it can cause damage and the spread of infection if done incorrectly. With these you put a dampened one onto the tip of the finger, and work across congested areas. I can’t wait to try them!

Davines NaturalTech Well-Being Shampoo £14.90

The perfect shampoo for stressed or imbalanced scalps – with essential oils of nutmeg, sandalwood and clove. The shampoo also protects hair from environmental aggressors. I’m a huge fan of the Davines range, I remember when I first discovered it in LA and adored their tub packaging. This is a low lather shampoo.

Kevyn Aucoin The Sensual Skin Enhancer £36.50

When I ordered this and it arrived I couldn’t believe how small this pot was. However I’ve had it for months and you need the tiniest little bit to make the hugest impact. Dab on to a blemish and pat in and you will not see it for the rest of the day. Blend a little with moisturiser to custom make a foundation. Brush a little amount under eyes to cover any dark circles, or dab onto cheekbones to brighten.

Pixi Glow Tonic £18.00

Pixi ‘Glow Tonic’ has glycolic acid in it. Wipe across the skin to gently exfoliate and encourage skin cell re-newal. It also contains witch hazel and soothing aloe. There is a lot of talk about this product at the moment.
