Essie Nail Polish in ‘Snap Happy’ £9.99

Red/orange nail polish. I love this shade and the easy to use consistency of the Essie nail polishes. Some Boots stores now stock Essie, but if you want to buy it online, the best price – taking delivery into consideration – is as below.

Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Mositurizer 30ml £21.50

I use this all over the skin and touch up any areas that need a little bit more coverage with concealer. It is oil free and yet gives skin a moisture hit, subtle colour, and coverage, whilst also protecting with an SPF 15. An all round product that is perfect for people who like their skin to look naturally enhanced.

Clinique Chubby Stick in ‘Oversized Orange’ £16.00

I’ve talked a lot about these moisturising colour sticks, and the shade ‘Oversized Orange’ is my current favourite. They moisturise and provide subtle colour – and there are endless shades to chose from.

Wet and Wild Eye Pencils $0.99

These eye pencils can be bought in US drugstores. They are the best $1 I have spent here in the states. I have the shades – Green, Olive, and Mink Brown. The brown shade also doubles up as an eyebrow pencil which is very useful indeed!

Eve Taylor Face Oil 30ml £11.29

I cannot recommend Eve Taylor’s aromatherapy face oils enough, they are natural and absorb straight into the skin. I use mine in the evening either alone or with the Ying Yu Jade Facial Roller.

Face Oil no 1 – Sensitive Skin
Face Oil no 2 – Delicate Skin
Face Oil no 3 – Problem Skin
Face Oil no 4 – Normal Skin
Face Oil no 5 – Mature Skin

Ying Yu Jade Facial Roller £28.00

The roller stimulates lymphatic drainage – ideal for anyone who suffers with puffiness or congestion on the face. I use mine nightly. As you gently roll over the skin – outwards and upwards – a red flush begins to appear which shows improved blood flow. Here is my previous blog and demonstration on how to use the jade roller.

Dita Von Teese at Artdeco Gel Eyeliner and Brush £19.50 and £9.50

The perfect deep black gel eyeliner. It lasts all day without fading or smudging. The brush makes the eyeliner extremely easy to apply – flicks, thin lines, or stronger wider lines – the brush does everything. I would almost go as far as to say you can’t go wrong with it!

My office today was the Stony Creek Motel in Maggie Valley in North Carolina. We weren’t meant to be stopping here on our journey, but as we were driving through it we decided to change our plans! We even were allowed to serve some drinks tonight in the incredibly friendly Hurley’s Creekside restaurant. I’m very glad that we stayed.

  1. I really want to try that jade facial roller, it sounds great 🙂

I’ve been loving your posts on your trip to the States with your friend, it sounds like you guys have been having a lot of fun! Very jealous you’ve been able to buy all those super cheap drugstore goodies that you can only buy over in the States!
