Eye Makeup Remover

I personally prefer a wash off eye make up remover, but all of these could also be used with damp cotton wool as a method of removal.

Gold – Eve Taylor Soothing Eye Makeup Remover

So gentle – a gel consistency – it cools and soothes. Contains aloe vera, islandic moss, and elderflower. Eye make up and debris is effectively and gently removed. Highly recommended. Great value. Lasts and lasts.

Silver – Dermalogica Soothing Eye Makeup Remover

I have used this eye makeup remover for years. It travels with me on my theatre tour in a mini container! Never ever causes irritation or stings. The tiniest amount of the clear gel is needed, so a bottle lasts for an extremely long time. I massage this into the eye area, and as I splash it off I add my cleanser and cleanse the entire face. Also a friend to individual lash extensions as it is gentle and most importantly oil free.

Bronze – Olay Eye Makeup Remover Normal/Dry/Combination

A cream eye make up remover. I massage this gently across the eyes and wash away with water – cotton wool would be another option – but I always like to splash everything away. This is my favourite of the less expensive eye makeup removers that are available.

Eye creams –

Gold – Perricone MD Cold Plasma Eye

Rich, and soft as silk. This eye cream took 5 years to develop. Helps to improve wrinkles, enlarged pores, dryness, redness, discolouration, uneven skin tone, impurities, loss of firmness, loss of smoothness and loss of radiance. It is an investment beauty buy. A pot is long lasting too – comes with spatula.

Silver – Dermalogica Multivitamin Lip & Eye

My go to eye and lip product. A thick protective satin gel that helps to combat lines around the eyes and lips. Contains protective organic silicones, and vitamins A, C and E. Very soothing. Nice that it doubles up as an around lip treatment too. It is used in Dermalogica facials during exfoliation, to protect areas that are too delicate to be treated.

High Street – Superdrug Vitamin E Radiance Eye Cream £2.99 for 15ml

Day Radiance –

Gold – Superdrug Vitamin E SPF15

I carry this moisturiser in my handbag and pat it over skin during the day when my make up has started to look a little tired. It’s a great pick up. Huge gold medal because of the price. I also like to have something with SPF in my handbag – just incase. I am an SPF obsessive. Not the most moisturising moisturiser in the world – it probably wouldn’t be enough for me as a daily stand alone moisturiser.

Price – £2.99

Size – 50ml

Silver – Dermalogica Clean Start

I used to use Dermalogica’s Day Bright. It was one of my favourite beauty products. It was discontinued. I believe something similar may be out next year. In the meantime – although it is completely different other than the radiance – this glowing moistuiser is fabulous for skin’s that don’t need or want extra shine, and yet it still provides illumination – and protection.

Bronze – Burt’s Bees Day Lotion Radiance SPF15

I really like all of the Burt’s Bees Radiance range. This is a light protective lotion – again not hugely moisturising – I tend to put a hydrating booster or serum underneath it. Gives a healthy glow to the skin, without being noticeable. Contains royal jelly

Price- £15.30 (this is the best price and is delivered free worldwide

Tinted Moisturiser –

Gold – Bobbi Brown Extra SPF 25 Tinted Moisturising Balm

Gel cream formulation – it’s texture is what I love most about it. I have been switching this and Dermalogica’s Sheer Tint, from gold to silver, and back again. I actually just love them both. Eight shades to chose from, blends perfectly into skin – with a decent amount of coverage. Moisturising. Skin looks all the better for putting this on. Would also be great for older skins, that foundations don’t flatter. I could wear shades:- light, light/medium, medium. I have the light/medium shade here with me in Ibiza. Gorgeous packaging, and a little goes a long way because of its thick formulation.

Price – £34.00

Size – 30ml

Silver – Dermalogica Sheer Tint SPF 15

I wear the shade ‘medium’ in this tinted moisturiser that gives great coverage, natural glow and protection to the skin. Perfect for anyone who doesn’t want to wear foundation. Evens out the skin tone, zinc oxides give protection from the sun, and natural iron oxides provide a long lasting wash off colour. Will not clog the skin

Price – £30.00 (but £25.50 with free worldwide delivery at the below link)

Size – 40ml

Bronze – Benefit You Rebel SPF 15

I was not a fan of this tinted moisturiser until I switched from the medium shade (red tube) to the light (cream tube). They originally only had the medium shade. I regard this to be a little bit more within the make up category than the tinted moisturiser category because I would always use a moisturiser underneath it. But I love the fresh look it gives to my skin. When skin is having a good day, sometimes it is a shame to hide it under foundation!

Price – £23.50 (worldwide free delivery – there is currently an offer of a free sample mascara too)

Size – 50ml

My office today – Poolside Ibiza with my darling friend Gilda from Sydney… she just loves the sun – I just love SPF!
