Firstly how beautiful are these colours? The range was developed by beauty guru Huda Kattan. I analysed the colour options for hours before making my first decision which was ‘Trendsetter’ – it was not a typical colour I would choose – which in many ways was why I chose it.
Trendsetter is a nude brown, and it’s lovely if you want to use a stronger eye.
I bought Heartbreaker for my friend Lulu’s birthday – she absolutely adored it. Her classic lipstick is Chanel’s Arthur and the lid is always coming off in her handbag and it ends up getting ruined – so I thought the shade ‘Heartbreaker’ to be perfect. It’s a beautiful true red.
If you feel the liquid matte or the lip contour matches something you already you could buy one or the other – they really are fantastic individual items – but I think a set, particularly from this range makes for a perfect lip. The products are densely pigmented which is why you get such a fabulous colour that’s non-drying.
My colour wish list –
I actually want them all but I know with my skin tone Medusa would make me look dead.
The Huda Lip range has a 5 star rating on Cult Beauty – from 95 reviews – I’m not alone in thinking that this product is superb. They sell out all of the time and are currently in stock, but if your choice is currently sold out just press ‘Join The Waitlist’ and you’ll be notified when it is back in stock – which is what I did the first time around. They would make such a nice Christmas gift if you know a shade that somebody would like.
The Lip Contour Lipliner is £16.00 and you can find it HERE
