I was sent all five of the new Revlon Mascaras. I am not passionate about every mascara I try but these are particularly good. In fact, I love them, all of them but I had to compare them and choose my favourite! I walked around for a week with different mascara on each eye!
Meet The Mascaras
Revlon Super Length Mascara
The revlon stretch brush tip grabs and covers, and lengthens even the tiniest shortest lash. It has the largest brush of the five and genuinely lengthens the lashes. It contains fibres which coat the lash to extend the length of them. Available in ‘Blackest Black’ (waterproof and non waterproof).
Revlon Ultra Volume Mascara
Clump free formula that plumps lashes. The brush has triple grooves which builds the lashes, the long and short parts of the brush brush through to stop clumping. Available in ‘Blackest Black’ (waterproof and non-waterproof) and ‘Blackened Brown’.
Revlon Dramatic Definition Mascara
This was the first of the five that I tried. This mascara has the new lash separator brush which coats and separates every lash for extra definition. It has a flexible formula, so lashes aren’t dry and rigid but defined and blackened! Available in ‘Blackest Black’ (waterproof and non-waterproof) and ‘Blackened Brown’.
Revlon Ultimate All-In-One Mascara
The one that was plugged in the Super Bowl commercials, also the first launched! The Ultimate All-In-One claiming to do a bit of everything, adding; volume, length, definition, lift and intense colour. Unfortunately I find smaller brushes so much harder to use, and this one has a smaller brush. Available in ‘Blackest Black’ and ‘Blackened Brown’.
Revlon Volume and Length Magnified Mascara
Using the new magnifying lash brush which has square edges – lifting the lash and coating them individually. This has a high shine fibre formula which amplifies the lashes. Available in ‘Blackest Black’ (waterproof and non-waterproof) and ‘Blackened Brown’.
Revlon Volume and Length Magnified Mascara VS Revlon Ultimate All-In-One Mascara
I love the big brush on the Volume and Length Magnifying Mascara, so for me I enjoy applying it far more than the All-In-One. Please remember this is my personal preference. The All-In-One is the heavily promoted and early released mascara of the range, that means it was probably considered the all round best. However I preferred the application and the look of the Volume and Length so it wins, it’s a more intense finish. Both lasted brilliantly.
Revlon Super Length Mascara vs Revlon Ultra Volume Mascara
Well these are both great but I love the Super Length, whatever length your lashes are if you would like them to be longer try this! I couldn’t believe the result. In terms of the Ultra Volume, I actually found the blue Volume Length and Magnifier (blue from the last round) more impressive in terms of volume. Green wins.
Revlon Volume and Length Magnified Mascara VS Revlon Dramatic Definition Mascara
I had used the Dramatic Definition mascara before the others as I grabbed it from the stack and took it away for the weekend. I knew it was going to be a front runner for me. It gives such luscious results, so I compared it with my favourite of the previous four – Volume and Length Magnified. Both of these are such a pleasure to apply and wear, and how your lashes look when you first apply is how they still look at the end of the day. Difficult choice but Blue is my winner!
