My new lipstick and I have been inseparable after meeting 2 weeks ago. I love the Topshop lipsticks – rich, creamy, smooth and nourishing. Thirty two shades are currently in the range. My current favourite is one of their pinks ‘Macaroon’. All priced at £8 – the lipsticks are well worth taking a look at when you need a new shade.
Macaroon is a pink – a warm medium pink that’s easy to wear. I apply a lip balm in the mornings and touch my lipstick up during the day. A lipstick brush gives the perfect finish but when I’m on the go – as it currently lives in my handbag – I apply and blot or gently rub in with my finger tip to blend. Lipstick on peeling or dry lips is never a good look – so if I don’t have my Sara Happ Brown Sugar Lip Scrub to hand – I exfoliate my lips with a damp towel.
Topshop make-up is fabulous at the moment- they have some lovely products. Another favourite product of mine is their highlighter in Sunbeam – use on the cheekbones, down the centre strip of the nose and across the collarbone.
Back to ‘Macaroon’ – I’m away on the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe at the moment – and when I was heading down to the beach (obviously without make-up) I couldn’t resist putting a little layer on!

Side note – When I was little I loved ‘French Set’ yogurt – my sister and I used to argue over who got to eat the lemon flavour. I hate them not being everywhere in the UK these days – it’s rare to find them at all if you’re not in Europe. Here in Guadeloupe I found a sugar flavoured ‘French Set’ yogurt – my dreams came true all at once!!! Where can I find them at home??? Any flavour will do!!!
