My Top Beauty Products – April 2015

UTAN Luxury Self-Tan Lotion in Dark

I blend this fabulous dark tanner in with a mitt. It gives instant colour and should be washed off after approximately 4 hours – although there is no harm in leaving it overnight. Don’t take the risk as I did once of feeling you can move quickly enough to use bare hands and immediately wash them – this stuff is powerful! My golden tan lasts for days. Big fan. Michelle Mone is the owner of this product line.

Delilah Gel Line and Small Liner Brush

This fabulous gel liner doesn’t move and doesn’t dry out – available in Ebony, Navy and Plum. The brush is super slim and pointed and makes it easy to apply subtle liner, or dramatic by using the side of the brush more firmly. If you are looking for a high quality gel liner and brush I would highly recommend these.

2True Flash Eyes Lash Lengthening Mascara

The 2True mascaras are getting quite a reputation for themselves. 2True is stocked in Superdrug, and mascaras are priced between £1.99 and £2.49. I can’t believe how effective this mascara is for it’s price. It doesn’t dry up quickly, make lashes look full and long all day, and is truly a bargain. I want to try more from this range if the mascaras are anything to go by.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector

This Australian brand is a brand I’ve been using for over a decade, I remember the lip glosses were my favourite thing in the days that I was doing ‘Footballer’s Wives’. For a while it was a struggle to get Becca products in the UK – but they are back and I am delighted. I love this pressed skin perfecter – I have shade ‘Topaz’. Apply lightly over skin for a glow, or highlight with it.

Daniel Sandler Sheer Satin Eyeshadow

The two eyeshadows I’m currently reaching for are from make-up artist Daniel Sandler’s range – shades ‘Coppered Bronze’ and ‘Burnt Sand’. They are perfect for every day use, and I’m wearing them in the April 2015 video blog. They give a gentle shimmer to the lid and crease.

Real Techniques Brush 201 Pointed Crease

This brush is from the Pixiwoo sisters range ‘Real Techniques’. It is my perfect blending brush – you can’t go wrong with it. It’s cleverly weighted to help avoid mistakes. Because of its shape it gets into the crease with the point, whilst the side of the dome blends around the edges. If you are nervous of eyeshadow beyond the lid get this brush.
