I first tried Japanese brand DHC’s ‘Scalp Massage Pack’ as a sample. After previously placing an order with DHC – their quarterly booklet lands on my doormat – and there are always sachets included. Anything that has the words ‘scalp’ and ‘massage’ in the title will always going to grab my attention!
Suggested for usage once or twice a week – the cream formula contains natural clays and botanical ingredients – clearing and energising the scalp and reviving dull and weighed down hair. The oils in the formula are olive, avocado and macadamia nut – all deeply nourishing and conditioning.
After using the ‘Scalp Massage Pack’ today – an hour later – my scalp is still feeling stimulated – a little bit cold and tingly. I love the feeling. I don’t enjoy the thought of product build up on my scalp. Years ago in Chicago, my friend Vicky and I had our scalps photographed in ‘Sephora’. Hair follicles can become blocked on a neglected scalp, and for thick and healthy hair the better the condition of the scalp – the better the condition of the hair. Cheap products that contain silicones – and without question dry shampoo – can compromise the scalp and leave a build up.
After using the pack, my hair always feels clean, light and soft – easy to style and manage. It’s become one of my favourite all round hair products.
