Review: Elemis Total Glow Bronzing Moisturiser for Face and Body

Elemis Total Glow Bronzing

This month Elemis have launched their Total Glow Bronzing in perfect time for summer. I have been lucky enough to be testing the two products over the last couple of weeks – one is for face and one is for body!

I used these for the first time after a spa day at Pennyhill Park – my skin was warm and yet when I dressed less than 5 minutes after application – my skin was soft and smooth but not sticky or damp at all. The smell is clean and fresh – there is no implication from the scent that either of these products are tanners.

Both are designed for every day use – but I choose to use the face moisturiser over my regular moisturiser – this isn’t a necessity, just my preference as I like to use a daily SPF. The face moisturiser leaves the skin very smooth and is a perfect base for make-up.

The product testing

86% of testers reported a natural looking tan

88% of testers reported an increase in hydration

92% of testers reported that their skin felt nourished and conditioned

The key ingredients

Vegetan – The tan builder, naturally derived from wheat

Green Tea Extract and Ginger Water – Boosts antioxidant protection, and improves skintone

Evodia Fruit Extract – Brightens the skin, and boosts microcirculation

Rice Bran Oil – Naturally rich in Vitamin E which leaves skin soft and supple

Elemis Total Glow Bronzing

 My verdict –

These are high quality daily tanners, and the result is a natural, streak free tan. I would say if you want a dark tan – as I on occasion do – then this isn’t the correct product for you. This is ideal for those who want to naturally enhance their skin – with a little colour, hydration, and smoothness.

Price –

Total Glow Bronzing Moisturiser For Face £29.50

Total Glow Bronzing Body Lotion £34.50

Does the face one instantly wash off or over a few days? Does it clog pores? Do you think its suitable for combination/oily skin? Sorry for all the questions! Im always on the lookout for a good face tanner 🙂
