The £60 ‘Face Lift’ Wand

Crystal Clear Anti Ageing Wand

Crystal Clear launched their nifty little hand held vibrating device ‘Lift Away The Years Anti Wrinkle Wand’ at Selfridges this week. I went along this morning for a demonstration from the lovely Sharon Hilditch – who developed the product – and I was so excited to write about it!!

Every product that Sharon develops, she develops because she herself has demands for her skin that she wants met! She uses high percentages of active ingredients in her entire skincare line – many products on the market that claim to contain certain active ingredients contain such a meagre quantity of them – that they will never have any effect.

The ‘Lift Away The Years’ wand is designed for use with Crystal Clear’s top selling ‘Skin Repair Serum’ – you fill the wand with it. It’s ingredients include oat proteins, silk proteins, Vitamin E, and anti oxidant Alistin. The initial purchase of the wand includes a 30ml serum. The serum hydrates the skin, whilst the vibrating wand works its magic and provides an immediate lifting effect – it causes the muscles to contract, blood flow is stimulated, and the face as a result is toned, lifted, and contoured.

Consumer research conducted over eight weeks showed a 45% increase in skin firmness, and 27% reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, when using the lifting and toning wand twice daily.

Sharon treated one side of my face, and there was a definite difference between the two. The more the machine is used, the more the effects are visible. My brow and cheekbone were most certainly a little lifted. I could really feel it working my facial muscles as Sharon worked the roller ball across my skin – particularly the muscles under my cheekbone. I felt a little sorry for the other side of my face!

I told Sharon that I have been using a Jade Facial Roller which I blogged about recently – she said that anything that stimulates the circulation in the skin, and the lymphatic system, is ideal for achieving healthy – and ultimately toned – looking skin. She is a very knowledgable lady, with a range of powerful products. I am extremely excited to see results over the weeks with the wand, and also with the dull skin busting face exfoliator ‘Crystal Polish’
that I tried on my hand today . It is billed as microdermabrasion at home, and is a satisfying blend of essential oils and anti-ageing peptides.

To use Lift Away The Years Wand –

On clean skin, use in upward and outward strokes.

Outwards from underneath the jawline towards the ear, upwards from jaw to cheekbone, and upwards from the eyebrow, along the top of the cheekbone to the temple.

It’s like a workout for the face. Suggested usage is morning and evening, for two minutes at a time. Sharon intends for the serum to be used in place of moisturiser. During the dayime, SPF can be applied after the wand treatment.

I love it, I own it, but it is completely different- it pushes products into the skin so that your serum, moisturiser etc work more efficiently. This wand from crystal clear stimulates and lifts the facial muscles.

I have botox on my face, and worry that this will undo its effect, is this so?
