I’ve been trying the brand new Clinique ‘A Different Nail Enamel’ nail polishes over the last few days.
The reason that this nail range is different is because it has been specifically formulated with sensitive skin in mind.
Apparently we touch our eyes an average of 200 times a day – and certain ingredients in nail polishes can be a contributing factor to skin and eye irritation. As Clinique is a 100% fragrance free and allergy tested cosmetics brand, they wanted to develop a product that minimised reaction to skin and eyes.
The varnishes are glossy, streak free – and long lasting.
This isn’t the first time that Clinique has dabbled with nail polishes, I remember using them in the past – they were very much classic colours, but always high quality. The new shades are far bolder – with some solid classics.
The colours are gorgeous. 12 permanent shades have been released – along with 9 limited edition shades for Summer 2013. Here is me wearing ‘Really Rio’ – which is a great colour for summer,.
Some other colours that I really like –
70 and Sunny
Launched online from today, and available at Clinique counters from 31st May 2013.
The nail polishes are priced at £12.00 and $16.00 in the USA.
