I’m so happy and grateful to my friend, Amy Huberman, for sharing with us five of her favourite beauty products. She loves products and instead of calling these her ‘top 5’, she said that these are just five that she is enjoying using at the moment. I am pleased because that means on another occasion I can ask her for another five products! I also haven’t got all of the mentioned products and knowing that she uses them, I now really want them!
I’ve known Amy for nearly three years, and from the very day that I met her I noticed how smooth and flawless her skin is. I love her, and I love her skin. She’s one of the funniest people that I know – me saying that will be no surprise to any of her twitter followers. She has just finished filming her second series of ‘Threesome’ so it was the perfect moment to ask her to tell us what she is loving.
1) Cowshed Knackered Cow Body Lotion 300ml £18.00 –
I’ve tried millions of body lotions over the years and this is the only one that I’ve repeat bought – 6 times in a row (obsessive cow). It is soooooo moisturising without being tacky or sticky; two things most body moisturisers always not claim to be and often are. It also smells really lovely (lavender and eucalyptus) without being overpowering. It’s a little more expensive than supermarket brands but I think us cows are worth it.
This body lotion is usually £18.00 but lookfantastic have it priced at £14.40, and they do free worldwide postage http://www.lookfantastic.com/knackeredcow
2) Dead Sea Spa Magik, Hair Magic Serum 150ml £16.60 –
You can find Dead Sea Spa Magik Products in a lot of pharmacies/health shops. It’s really great for restoring strength, moisture and shine to tired, abused hair.
This is called a serum – and it is not something I have tried as yet – but it is a leave on hair mask, that can also be used as a serum on dry hair. Once again lookfantastic have a special price on this product £13.25 http://www.lookfantastic.com/deadseamagicserum
3) Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque 75ml £33.50 –
If I’ve used this face mask one night, the next morning I always get such a pleasant surprise in the mirror and commend myself on the fact that it must be all the exercise and healthy eating I’ve been doing… Hang on I haven’t been doing THAT much….?…. Ah yes, Multivitamin Power Recovery Mask.
I also love this face mask. Buying on Dermalogica’s UK website is £33.50 but gives you a free hydration kit at the checkout point http://www.dermalogica.com/ukmultivitamin. Worldwide shoppers it is currently on offer for £28.48 at http://www.lookfantastic.com/multivitamindermalogica
4) MAC Pro Longwear Foundation 30ml £22.50 and Bobbi Brown Luminous Moisturising Foundation 30ml £29.00 –
I’m having a threesome with MAC and Bobbi Brown at the moment. I put a really light (repeat really light) layer of Mac Pro Longwear on as a base, as the coverage is great, and then buff a light amount of Bobbi Brown Luminous Moisturizing Foundation on top – it’s so sheer and gives you a really natural dewy finish!
Well Amy this combination sounds delightful, I am going to try it myself!

5) Garnier Youthful Radiance Anti-Dark Circles 2 in 1 Tinted Eye Roll-On 15ml £8.50 –
I’m LOVING Garnier tinted Roll-On anti dark circles because it is super light!! I find so many other ones so cakey and heavy and only serve to exacerbate the appearance of any fine lines you might have by sitting right in there and drying out the skin. Just dab a TINY amount of this under your eye and pat it in and it will lift dark circles (the caffeine) and not look like a crusty cake shop has set up a stall under your eyes…. perfect! Plus it’s one of the most affordable ones out there!
If it is easier to buy it online than in Superdrug/Boots, and it always seems to be for me – feelunique delivers for free worldwide http://www.feelunique.com/garniereyerollon
